MetroLeads: Lead Full Stack Developer

Role Description

We’re building a high-performance SaaS platform engineered for scale, reliability, and speed. To take it to the next level, we’re looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer who enjoys solving deep engineering problems, designing elegant architectures, and mentoring engineers who love clean, modern code.
This role is for someone who loves systems thinking, cares about code quality, and enjoys shaping technical direction in a product-first environment

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, development, and deployment of key modules across our CRM SaaS platform.
• Design backend services, microservices, and APIs that are modular, resilient, and scalable by design.
• Guide engineering decisions on performance trade-offs, data models, infra choices, and tech stack evolution.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to convert complex ideas into reliable engineering solutions.
• Establish and maintain strong engineering practices: CI/CD, code reviews, observability, automation.
• Mentor engineers and elevate team capabilities in system design, code structure, and best practices.
• Continuously identify opportunities to optimize system performance, reduce tech debt, and improve user experience.

Tech Stack You’ll Work With

• Frontend: TypeScript, React.js / Next.js
• Backend: Django (Python2.7), FASTAPI (Python3.10)
• Databases: PostgreSQL, CassandraDB, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis
• Infra & Tools: AWS, Docker, Jenkins, Git, RabbitMQ
• APIs: REST
• Architecture: Event-driven systems, microservices, distributed systems

Minimum Qualifications

• 4-6 years of full-stack experience building complex web applications.
• At least 2+ years leading engineering teams or driving technical decisions.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, API design, data modeling, and distributed architecture.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript across frontend and backend ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infra, DevOps workflows, and production-grade deployments.
• Strong grasp of scalability, performance tuning, and security principles.
• A product-centric mindset- someone who understands the “why” behind what we build.
• Ability to operate with ownership, clarity, and calmness in a fast-paced environment.
